I’m Carol, an aspiring romance author, a loving wife, and a proud mum to two beautiful daughters. Nestled in sunny Australia, my journey with storytelling has been a lifelong romance, weaving tales and sharing the love of fiction with fellow romantics like you.
From childhood afternoons spent in the library to devouring timeless romance classics like ‘Pride and Prejudice,’ my love for stories has only grown stronger. It was during my teenage years that I first discovered Harlequin Mills & Boon novels, introduced by my mum, who herself was a passionate reader. The fairytale worlds of strong, brooding heroes and heartfelt emotions sparked a flame within me that burns brightly to this day.
My bookshelf library is as varied, ranging from romance, fantasy, and paranormal tales to contemporary women’s fiction and young adult novels. Authors like Nora Roberts, Danielle Steele, and Liane Moriarty not only entertain but also inspire me. There’s also my quieter passion for romantic fan fiction, which I both enjoy reading and writing, often diving into those worlds to craft stories that resonate with me.
My family — my husband, Anthony and our daughters, Kaitlyn and Sarah — play an integral role in my creative journey. They’ve supported my passion every step of the way, encouraging my dream of writing romance. Although the novel I started back in 2010 has seen many drafts and faced life’s detours, it remains a cherished project and a testament to my commitment to the craft.
